Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋節回顧
We loved celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with you last Sunday! We made mooncakes, met new friends, and enjoyed a lovely afternoon together. Our students joined in to make marbled mooncakes, too. We hope you took home some wonderful memories.
很開心上週和大家一起做月餅，度過溫馨的中秋節！我們認識了新朋友，學生們也和大家一起做了大理石紋月餅。希望這段相聚的時光，為大家留下美好的節日回憶。
Mid-Autumn Drawing Contest 中秋繪畫比賽
Themes: 'Mid-Autumn Festival celebration memories' or 'My Family and Me'
Deadline: October 18
Our school is participating in the Mid-Autumn Festival Drawing Contest sponsored by CMP Chinese Schools. It is free to enter and there are cash prizes. Please see the flyer for prizes and entry details.

Apple Picking Event

MHCLC PTA invites everyone to join us for a fun day of apple picking and scavenger hunt! There’s no class that day, and former students and old friends are welcome, too. If you would like to join us, please call Carol.
家長會邀請大家一起摘蘋果，還準備了尋寶遊戲！當天學校沒有課，歡迎大家參加。舊生和老朋友也歡迎一起來。如果想加入，請聯絡 Carol。
Golden Thread Pancake 金絲餅

We will be making golden thread pancakes for our first cooking class. There will be a full two hours to cook and enjoy the experience together. Please note that we’ll meet at a different location this time.

We are postponing the October 17 movie screening while we work out the screening rights and location.

📢 Culture Class Punch Cards
文化課出席卡提醒
Students enrolled in both language and culture classes will receive a culture class punch card. Please keep it safe and check that your teacher signs it after each class. Teachers, please help remind students to get their cards signed. Thank you!
同時參加語言課和文化課的學生，會收到一張文化課出席卡。請妥善保管，並在每次上課後確認老師已簽名。也請老師協助提醒學生，謝謝！
MHCLC Fall Dinner 秋季晚餐聚會

Our PTA invites everyone to a fall dinner at Palace Dumpling! We enjoyed our visit last year and look forward to sharing another meal together. Please RSVP by November 1. We will share additional details regarding location soon.
